This is what inspired the creation of the KoumKoum, a hands-free electric rollerskate that places the user close to the ground. The KoumKoum provides electric assistance, without dictating how it should be used.

The KoumKoum will be assembled in Belgium, mostly from components made in various European countries.
SP-Locomotion SRL, the company that designs and sells the KoumKoum, is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. The accountants, lawyers, business experts and marketing firms we work with are all Belgian.
The KoumKoum is designed mostly from recyclable materials (aluminium, copper, steel), with plastics kept to a minimum.
On the market in 2026
Soon at your feet
The concept of the KoumKoum and its first prototype have been carefully crafted in 2024 and 2025. The prototype is fully-functional but would be to expensive to mass-manufacture.
We are now going tuning the product for mass production. As of October 2025, the electronics are complete, a nicer-looking form has been designed, and this pre-production KoumKoum can be ridden outdoors with great fun.
