Conditions of use of our products

By purchasing our products, you certify that you will use them following your local laws and regulations. Purchase, resale, gifting or export in any way of our products to countries or regions subjected to trade sanctions by the EU is not allowed.

The KoumKoum is a motorized personal mobility device. By purchasing it, you certify that you will only use it in public space if a device like the KoumKoum is allowed on public space in your country or region. You are responsible for consulting and following your local laws and regulations. Our product page lists, for information purposes only, some countries in which the KoumKoum is known to be, or not to be, allowed on public space. On private properties (homes, offices, warehouses, gardens, private paths), the KoumKoum is legal in every EU country and bears the CE label.

By purchasing the KoumKoum, you certify that you will use it with caution and make every effort possible to avoid damages to goods and people, yourself or anyone around you. You may ride the KoumKoum in public only after having trained on private property, once you are reliably able to avoid obstacles, slow down and stop any time it may be required. You may ride the KoumKoum only if wearing approriate personal protection equipment: knee protection, elbow protection, helmet, high visibility vest. In several countries, you are also required to wear a front-facing white light and a backwards-facing red light.

In most countries, a personal insurance ("family insurance") is required for driving vehicles in public spaces. This requirement covers bicycles (motorized or not), electric steps and other light electric vehicles such as the KoumKoum.

By purchasing the KoumKoum, you certify that you will use it within its technical characteristics described on the product page. For example, you may not use the KoumKoum in a way that will make it carry more than the maximum allowed weight described on the product page.

Limitation on liability

SP-Locomotion SRL is not liable for any damages that may occur to you as a result of your misuse of our website, or misuse of our products.

Applicable law

By using this website, you agree that the laws of Belgium (tribunal of Brussels), without regard to principles of conflict laws, will govern these terms and conditions, or any dispute of any sort that might come between you and SP-Locomotion SRL, or its business partners and associates.

Any dispute between you and SP-Locomotion SRL should be addressed first using our contact form, then (if unsatisfactory) through an independent mediation service such as https://mediationconsommateur.be/ .

SP-Locomotion SRL reserves the right to edit, modify, and change this Agreement at any time. This Agreement is an understanding between SP-Locomotion SRL and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website.
